Armed with power tools, off-kilter advice, and preposterous inventions, Red Green and his pals from Possum Lodge amassed a giant fan base during the show’s 15-year run, which ended in April 2006 with exactly 300 episodes. Creator and star Steve Smith features north-of-the-border handyman humor in the vein of Home Improvement, which also debuted on television in 1991.

In the 19 episodes from the 10th season, Red and his pals from Possum Lodge tackle all manner of handyman dilemmas: assembling an army jeep from a kit, trying to trap a wild animal, and coping with disaster when—horror of horrors—they run out of duct tape. Additionally, Winston searches for a wife, Dalton tries not to cross his wife, and Red does what he does best—turn junk into wild inventions that defy common sense. He also plays host to a foster child, 500 visiting Americans, meddlesome network executives, and Dalton’s emu ranch. Full of hilarious, lighthearted backwoods humor, this series celebrates the handyman in all males.
