Acorn Media U.S. began as a one-man operation and released its first two titles, both documentaries, in 1984. Today, Acorn Media U.S. holds exclusive North American distribution rights to hundreds of collectible titles on DVD. The genres represented include drama, mystery, comedy, science fiction, performance, and special interest programming including health and fitness.
